The electromagnetic induction theory, which is accepted as the basis of Induction Heating systems, was discovered by Michael Faraday in 1831. This theory can be defined by the principle that "On a metal exposed to a variable electromagnetic field, an induced EMF occurs and this voltage causes a high current on the metal".
Induction heating is a non-contact heating process (Heat treatment). With this method, electrically conductive metals, carbon-based materials are heated precisely and sensitively using high-frequency electricity. Plastic materials cannot be heated by induction. Since the heating process is non-contact, no warping, staining, or deterioration occurs in the heated materials. Since the heat is produced inside the material, the energy efficiency is very high. It is used in material processing applications and various engineering fields in the automotive, white goods, and aerospace industries.
